This is supposed to be a free topic blog, but what else can I say than how good of a time I had.
The video is posted already, so, one last thing I can say is...
if you are planning to do this abroad program, make sure to have vitamins, extra time after your study so you can get to know germany and do not use your study time. Be open minded and be very tolerant.
I really have nothing else to say, except I made outstanding relations,

This is really old but good...
Well...
Not much to say, the music in Berlin is really good and really old. Although I missed my salsa and my merengue, which I never heard while in Europe (in my entire trip).
About art, I went to the Dali exposition. it was outstanding, the east side gallery (Berlin wall painted by artists), the monuments (that I think they are art displays) and also one of the concentration camps. This all falls into culture. and all of these made my experience unbelievable and outstanding.
All over all, it was great and that is all I have to say,

Overall it was a great experience
the "F.U.C.K. list" has paid off...
Ok, so I will start by saying that the Berlin abroad was not what I expected, never the less it was worth it.
Missing my people back at home (like it is not enough already living in MIA), I found out a lot more from FIU students and appreciate the great relations I have with each one of them.
I was lucky too, the relations with my classmates and peers was good, had great connections and built timeless memories. The city it self offered a variety of plans on which we would always have something different to experiment and enjoy. The public viewings and the beer gardens and beaches made our stay way more entertaining and the IMK students were the perfect tour guides we could ask for.
Now, although I have all this feelings, knowledge and emotions running around my mind like crazy, I can't find the words to encode them, so I have just decided to put together a video and you can judge for yourself. but before you see this, I would love to share the F.U.C.K. list with you to see if you can apply wherever you are.
- Fun
- Understanding
- Culture
- Knowledge
It is all about having fun, gaining an understanding, living a new culture and acquiring new knowledge, did it work? yes it did !!!!
Now for your pleasure, here is a video...

Is that an Ad??????
I will not say it is non-traditional, but I will say it did have an impact on me.
Non-traditional media, any new media is non-traditional, but then it becomes common and that is it.
Browsing around this city and this country I have seen a few ads that have impressed me, not because of the message but because of the media.
For example, before leaving to Dresden at the train station, we saw this huge, rotating posters that went from the roof 2 stories down inside the station, is this non-traditional? Nope it is not, but it is massive.
Then we see the ipad ad in Postdamer Platz, outstandingly huge but is it non-traditional? Nope it is not, but it is eye catching.
The ads on the stairs of the S-bahn and U-bahn stations, are those non-traditional? Nope, just really cool.
Floor posters, they are not non-traditional, they have been for ages, but still effective.
So, my point is, non-traditional it is also a point of view, if you have never seen it of course it will be non-traditional. How can I find a non-traditional ad in Berlin???
Even though it is not “non-traditional”, the only out of the box thing I can think of it is not even a commercial ad. I was heading home on the subway and this dude starts singing something, his dog had the poster and was walking all over the cart collecting the coins for his owner. I do step on the idea that this was an ad, not commercial as in known brands, but it was an ad. I am sorry I do not have the picture, but it was way too fast and then he left at the next station and I kept my way.

United Colors of Berlin
It is also a melting pot, thousands of people from different backgrounds with one same denominator... they live in Berlin !!!
Well… walking around Berlin I didn’t see much “minorities” on the ads. Then again I wonder, are minorities really minorities?
I am not gonna compare it to the states but the question is there.
This is basically everything I have to say about this.
